Overview
Candy Crush Soda Saga is one of the most successful mobile puzzle games in the world, requiring continuous UI/UX evolution while maintaining familiarity for long-term players.
My role focused on improving player readability, event engagement, and social interaction systems while supporting live-ops production pipelines. I was involved across the full UI/UX pipeline, contributing from early concepts to final implementation.
This hands-on approach ensured that ideas translated smoothly into polished in-game features. The project involved tackling several technical challenges, particularly around integrating new features into an existing live ecosystem. Working closely with the Tech Art team, we developed solutions that allowed for smooth implementation without compromising performance or visual quality.
IMPACT
This experience allowed me to blend creativity with technical problem-solving, contributing to a more dynamic and engaging player experience. By combining thoughtful UX design with polished UI visuals and strong collaboration, we introduced features that enhanced usability, retention and player enjoyment.
